Sure didn’t expect this.
In other news. I’m gonna change the format here over the next few months. I’m going to try a slightly different approach, and who knows, maybe even put up a few more posts.

My Eulogy for the Predators has taken a bit of heat over at Yahoo!. It’s amazing to me how quickly some people manage to fly off of the handle. Sure, I exercised a bit of post-win shit-talking, but now these guys seem ready for a lynching. I mean, my remarks were pretty inflammatory, but all in good fun. Anyone that’s spent much time in Michigan can attest to the fact that there is little I attributed to southerners that can’t also be attributed to our brothers and sisters up in the great Mitt. I know the South tends to be a little sensitive at jabs from us yankees, which I find incredibly surprising, coming from a region that’s so historically tolerant. So, if I hurt your feelings, I’m sorry. I meant only to offend.

This ought to be interesting. I’m a Wings fan living in the Rockies, and while hockey isn’t quite as popular as say, guns, if people out here do follow hockey, they tend to be Avs fans. I’m in hostile territory folks. Wish me luck.
Yup, I sure do. I was asked to write a eulogy for Yahoo! Sports when the Predators were knocked out of the playoffs. Here it is. Much thanks to Greg Wyshynski for the opportunity.
